We are looking for a versatile, vibrant, and organized Digital & Social Media Executive with a strong background in Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate is expected to handle and coordinate with-in marketing department to produce on-time contents on social media platforms. With is fresh and creative mind the candidate is expected to propose new ideas and driving engagement by creating high-quality original content across our preferred social media platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Driving organic and paid marketing initiatives of SQTourism for increasing our social media followers and generating desired traction for our initiatives.
  • Post & manage our initiatives across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Conduct market research to determine current benchmark patterns and consumer desires.
  • Track and upload video contents on YouTube and Instagram.
  • Create relevant captions for the social media posts.
  • Research and mine various compatible hash-tags and track the performance.
  • Develop and execute a social media plan that is in line with the business goals.
  • Set clear goals and monitor your return on investment (ROI).
  • Post social media updates in our specified groups and track the engagement.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to questions promptly, and keep an eye on customer feedback.
  • Response to the comments regularly and promptly.
  • Creating content Calendar, Ideating & creating content for the company’s social media platforms.
  • Collaborating with Videographers and Multimedia Designers to ensure that posts are engaging.
  • Work towards enhancement of our followers on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.
  • Post job as when required.
  • Ensure that the design of your social media pages is up to par (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Propose and introduce new features, such as promotions and competitions, to increase brand awareness.
  • Keep up with the latest technology and developments in social media, design tools, and apps.
  • Create actionable strategies to increase and retain your following on common social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • To maintain brand continuity, collaborate with other departments such as marketing and sales.
  • Utilize predictive tools such as Google Analytics and others to ensure success across all platforms.
  • Remaining abreast of changes to all pertinent social media applications.

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications , economics, public relations or related field.
  • At least 2 years experience in social media marketing or digital media specialist.
  • Professional Certification course in Social Media Marketing.
  • Exceptional personal Social Media reach.
  • Proficient in handling multiple social media accounts especially business pages.
  • Good to have general knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content.
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
  • Ability to draft basic creative and innovative content (original text, images, videos & news).
  • Knowledge of campaign management & various online marketing tools used for running & analyzing social programs.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software & tools (i.e. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc).
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
  • Fluency with digital marketing best practices and testing methodology.
  • Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred.
  • Experience of working as a Digital Marketer in mechanical engineering industry is ideal, but not a limiting factor for the right candidate.
