Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Marketing, Business or another related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in travel and tourism or a similar industry and role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proficiency in GDS Skills, Amadeus preferable.
  • Good knowledge of UAE Destination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal ability and customer service skills.
  • Understand hotel operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines on critical projects.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Flexible between indoor & outdoor sales.
  • Proactive and result driven.
  • A strong desire to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to operate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
  • Strong Customer Service with the ability to build productive relationships, resolve complex issues and win customer loyalty.
  • English & Arabic languages are mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Book air travel, transfers, hotel accommodation, car hire, travel insurance, airport meet and greet service, and other requirements for all type of clients, ensuring that these services are confirmed with the client. Make all reservations in accordance with the client company travel policy.  
  • Respond to all telephone requests immediately, and respond to all email requests within the time frame agreed.
  • Understand the needs of clients and exhibiting best possible options.
  • Effectively maintaining and building long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Promote holiday packages, tours, and related lines of business.
  • Accurately arrange visas according to the client’s requirements.
  • Sell airline tickets and travel packages to clients in accordance with the company’s policy.
  • Responsible for sustaining and maximizing revenues.
  • Provide the client with all required information such as low fares, exchange costs, etc.
  • Meet with clients virtually or personally.
  • Review sales performance.
  • Enhance company reputation.
  • Performs follow up as needed and promised.
  • Handle clients complaints and inquiries.
